NIGERIA SOLAR PROJECT 2022 : SOLAR MILK COOLING SOLUTIONS BY SERAP

SERAP, through its company in India, Serap India, has just finalized the installation of different cooling solutions using solar technology in milk collection centers in Nigeria.

After a successful first installation of SERAP Solar Milk Can Coolers in 6 milk collection hubs in the Northeastern part of Nigeria in 2021, SERAP Installed earlier this year 2 additional solar milk collection centers equipped with FS and FSU 2000L milk tanks for a total daily capacity of 6000L, plus 10 new solar milk collection hubs equipped with our MCC 320L in 2 central provinces in the country.

SERAP technical engineers assisted and trained the local teams on the installation and servicing of these units.

These centers will be equipped with another SERAP ecofriendly solution, the HRU, which heats water for sanitary purposes by recovering the calories from milk cooling with zero electrical input.

Our partners appreciated the simplicity of the Plug and Play installation of our MCC’s and the efficiency and low maintenance requirements of our equipment.
