MCC PRESENTED AT THE 4TH EDITION OF THE CII COLD CHAIN AWARDS IN NEW DELHI

Organized by the CII’s Food and Agriculture Center of Excellence (FACE), the 4th edition of the CII Cold Chain Awards took place in New Delhi on Nov. 20th, 2019. This ceremony recognizes individuals and/or organizations for their outstanding contribution to the field of cold chain management and their interest into raising awareness with regard to sustainable and competitive equiment.

Winners of past sessions were invited during the ceremony to make a presentation of their own innovative solution. In 2018, SERAP India was awarded the first prize for innovation with the milk can cooler (MCC). Therefore, Mr. Sumeet Kakkar, Sales manager at SERAP India, presented to the audience including Mr. RAMESWAR TELI, Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, our milk can cooler solution developed for small producers who live away from dairies. As a robust and economic solution, the milk can cooler is particularly intended to small producers who live far from dairies and do not benefit from milk collection from one village to another. Our MCC works to form & accumulate ice effectively while maintaining a good quality of milk until it’s been delivered to chilling centers.
