SAS SERAP Finances is SERAP Group’s entity which is responsible for data processing with a capital of €1,355,440, registered in France in the Laval (53) Commercial Register under number 352 597 231, with its registered office at Route de Fougères, 53120 GORRON.

Protecting your personal data is a top priority for us. This confidentiality policy explains how we collect and process this data.

1. SCOPE OF OUR PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

This Personal Data Protection Policy applies to the processing of all personal data collected via our website, which is accessible at http://www.groupeserap.com/ .

“Personal data” (hereinafter “Data”) refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (hereinafter “person concerned”).

  • Data relating to your private and professional life that you choose to provide us with, particularly within the scope of job applications;

3. LEGAL BASIS AND PURPOSES OF SERAP GROUP’S DATA PROCESSING OPERATIONS

The Data collected by SERAP Group are used for:

  • processing and following up job applications sent via our website;
  • responding to your requests submitted via our contact form;
  • communicating with you in general, particularly when you contact us by any means whatsoever.

We only collect all or some of the Data listed above once we have obtained your prior express consent for the purposes for which it is processed.

4. DATA RETENTION PERIODS

We undertake to delete your data within a maximum of 2 years after our final contact with you.

4.2 Communication, managing your contact requests

We undertake to delete your data within a maximum of 3 years after our final contact with you.

5. CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA COLLECTED

The Data collected are used internally within SERAP Group and are strictly limited to the most suitable teams to processes the relevant request.

We may, however, share the Data collected with technical service providers in order to fulfil the purposes outlined above.

We require our partners to comply strictly with the applicable Data protection laws at all times and to especially pay attention to Data confidentiality.

Pursuant to the applicable regulations, any subcontractors that process personal data on behalf of SERAP Group undertakes, in particular, to:

  • Process the data exclusively for the sole purpose(s) for which the subcontracting is intended,
  • process the data according to SERAP Group’s instructions
  • ensure the confidentiality and security of the Data.

Furthermore, SERAP Group may disclose/transfer your personal data to third parties in the following specific circumstances:

  • As a result of a law, within the framework of legal proceedings, a dispute and/or a request from the public authorities in your country of residence or elsewhere;
  • If it is necessary to disclose this data for purposes of national security, law enforcement or other matters of public importance;
  • In the event of a reorganisation, transfer, merger or sale, your data may also be transferred to the third party concerned.

6. DATA TRANSFERS

Should your Data be transferred out of the European Union, we ensure that:

  • Your personal data is transferred to countries which are recognised as offering an equivalent level of protection.

7. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE DATA WE COLLECT

7.1 Your rights

You have the following rights regarding the Data we collect:

  • Right to access your Data: You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is processed, and in the affirmative, you also have the right to access this data. This includes the right to obtain a copy of the Data being processed.
  • Right to request the correction of any incorrect data: If any data about you is inaccurate, incorrect, incomplete or out of date you have the right to request that this data be corrected, updated or completed.
  • Right to request the deletion of your data: You have the right to request the deletion of your data only on the grounds stipulated in the applicable regulations, and more specifically when:
    • This Data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;
    • You withdraw the consent on which the processing is based and there are no other legal grounds for the processing of your data;
    • You object to say processing and there is no compelling legitimate reason for the processing of your data;
    • You believe that your data has been unlawfully processed;
    • Your data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation.
  • Right to restrict the processing of your personal data: You have the right to obtain from the controller restricted processing of your data only on the grounds stipulated in the applicable regulations, and more specifically when:
    • You contest the accuracy of the personal Data;
    • You believe that the processing is unlawful and you oppose the deletion of your data;
  • Right to object to the processing of your data by withdrawing your consent (bearing in mind that this does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).
  • Right to benefit from the portability of your data: You have the right to recover any data provided to SERAP Group, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to pass on this data to another controller, for example in order to switch service providers.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL: If you believe that SERAP Group is not meeting its obligations regarding your personal data, you may submit a complaint or request to the competent authority at any time. 7.2 How to exercise your rights

You can exercise the aforementioned rights by sending a detailed written request to: marketing@groupeserap.com or SERAP Industries, Route de Fougères, 53120 GORRON.

Due to SERAP Group’s security and confidentiality requirements when processing Data, we hereby inform you that your request will only be dealt with if you provide proof of your identity, i.e. by sending us a scan or signed photocopy of your valid ID document.

SERAP Group will determine whether or not your request is admissible within one month following its receipt. If your request is admissible, SERAP Group will provide the information you requested or implement the rights invoked within the deadline specified above.

If, given the complexity of the request or the volume of received requests, the aforementioned deadline cannot be met; SERAP Group will notify you before the end of this period of its intention to postpone its decision by a maximum of two months.

SERAP Group hereby informs you that, if need be, we are entitled to oppose requests which are manifestly abusive (based on their number or repetitive or systematic nature).

If SERAP Group will not follow up your request, we will notify you of the reasons for our decision within the aforementioned deadlines, reminding you that you may take any complaints to the CNIL.

8. SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

We take all of the necessary security measures to prevent, as far as possible, any modification or loss of your data and any unauthorised access to your data.

If we become aware of any illegal access to your personal data, which corresponds to a processing operation that we are responsible for, we undertake to notify you accordingly as soon as possible if this is a legal requirement.

9. UPDATING THIS POLICY

This policy may be updated at any time, particularly in accordance with legal and/or regulatory provisions and/or based on any recommendations from the CNIL. We therefore advise you to visit this page regularly.
